NARRATIVE REPORT ON ACQUAINTANCE PARTY 2018

          Salavador national high school has celebrated acquaintance party on the 6^th of July 2018 with the theme, “Making SNHS friends into family and turning dreams into reality”. That was the day where everybody gets acquainted and made friends. Where everybody have fun and enjoyed the party.

The program was started in the morning, with the national anthem and the doxology. It was opened by our outgoing SSG president Mr. Ivan Hope Torilla. Then, the faculty and staff, FPTA officers, and SSG officers were introduced one by one for all of us don’t know their names and achievements, especially for the grade 7 students who are new to our school. The first set of presentations are called, they were selected students from grade 12 and grade 12 teachers. After that, was the induction of officers, and I am one of those who take oath for our responsibilities as an officer from different organizations. Next was an activity named “getting to know you”, where many students and teachers participated even how hot the sun is. Then, a motivational message is given by Hon. Arnie Balanay. Another set of presentations from grade 11 are called after that, it was singing and dancing presentations. Next was the game “Nosi Ba Lasi” leaded by Mr. Joel Ebardo. The game has prices and one of my classmates received a price for winning. Then a message of encouragement is given by Mr. Sadan Tawantawan our FPTA president. After that, are presentations from grade 10, grade 8 and 10 teachers, and grade 9 teachers. Next was the turn over ceremony, where Mr. Ivan Torilla passes the key to Mr. Rancis Tabacon. The key symbolizes the position of being the SSG president. While the ceremony is ongoing, everyone is busy preparing food for the boodle fight. After the ceremony, we all have our lunch in the form boodle fight. We really have fun during that time. After the lunch break, the yelling competition starts. Every section in every grade has their unique yells. When we perform, we all get nervous but we never let it ruin what we made. Even though we forgot some of our lines and actions, still it turned out so well. Later after we performed, rain clouds suddenly formed and strong wind blows that it destroyed our tents. Then, the rainfall starts. They never tend to stop the program even everybody else are busy keeping their things back to their classrooms. After that, we never go back there an wait for the rain to stop. When we got back, they already announced the winners of the yelling competition and our section got the first place. We happily received the price. Then the program ends with a dance party.

That was one of the best days of my life. Everybody go home with a smile. It’s really nice to have friends and make new friends. I’ pretty sure that everybody has fun and enjoyed the activities. I hope there will be next acquaintance party.
